Gene Description RBM20, RNA binding motif protein 20, is an RNA-binding protein that regulates alternative splicing of target genes (PMID: 24960161, PMID: 22466703), and plays an important role in cardiomyocyte function (PMID: 38288598). An FGFR2-RBM20 fusion has been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 39078735, PMID: 36652354), and decreased RBM20 expression has been reported in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 40121338).
