Gene Description ANGPT1, angiopoietin 1, promotes angiogenesis through the Tie2 receptor, leading to cell proliferation, migration, and cell invasion (PMID: 20651738, PMID: 27703260). Increased expression of Angpt1 has been observed in a variety of cancers, including ovarian and prostate (PMID: 27703260), while decreased expression has been observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma and lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 31385379).
