Gene Description RSPO1, R-spondin 1, encodes for one of the secreted proteins in the TSR1-containing protein family, which plays a role in canonical Wnt signaling and ovarian development (PMID: 27270435). RSPO1 amplification has been identified in ovarian cancer and loss of function mutations in squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 27270435), and increased Rspo1 expression has been associated with increased survival in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 31579414).
