Gene Description ATAD2, ATPase family AAA domain containing 2, is an ATPase that functions in transcriptional activation (PMID: 17998543, PMID: 19843847), chromatin dynamics (PMID: 27612420, PMID: 26459632), and DNA damage response (PMID: 31789405). ATAD2 overexpression has been identified in many cancer types (PMID: 31574824) including ovarian cancer (PMID: 31746426), breast cancer (PMID: 20864510), and colorectal cancer (PMID: 26819280), and an FGFR2-ATAD2 fusion has been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 33218975).
