Gene Description NR3C1, nuclear receptor subfamily 3 group C member 1, a transcription factor and a mediator of protein-protein interaction, which plays a role in metabolism, cell proliferation and apoptosis, and immune and inflammatory response (PMID: 31212954, PMID: 24084075, PMID: 10696570). Decreased expression of Nr3c1 has been observed in various hematologic malignancies and advanced solid tumors, including breast, colorectal and prostate cancers (PMID: 29158269).
