| Gene Description | BABAM1, BRISC and BRCA1 A complex member 1, is a component of the BRISC deubiquitinating enzyme complex (PMID: 22974638) and functions to stabilize the BRCA1-A complex (PMID: 24667604), and plays a role in localization of BRCA1 to DNA damage and DNA repair (PMID: 37248434, PMID: 26338419, PMID: 19261748). BABAM1 mutations have been identified in breast cancer (PMID: 19572197). | ||||||||||
