Gene Description GRM3, glutamate metabotropic receptor 3, is a Group II G-coupled glutamate receptor that functions in regulation of glutamatergic signaling (PMID: 16417579, PMID: 22564439). Mutations in GRM3 are associated with melanoma (PMID: 21946352, PMID: 28646617) and may also be implicated in renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 30488581).
