| Gene Description | H1-4, H1.4 linker histone, cluster member, encodes a member of the histone H1 family, which binds to nucleosomes and plays a key role in chromatin organization (PMID: 23945933, PMID: 19059319) and transcriptional activation of target genes (PMID: 22465951, PMID: 33238524 ). Mutations in H1-4 have been identified in follicular lymphoma (PMID: 24435047, PMID: 24362818) and myeloma (PMID: 27235425). | ||||||||||
