| Gene Description | H1-5, H1.5 linker histone, cluster member, encodes a member of the histone H1 family, which binds to nucleosomes and plays a key role in chromatin organization (PMID: 23945933, PMID: 19059319) and transcriptional regulation of target genes (PMID: 21654845). Mutations in H1-5 have been identified in follicular lymphoma (PMID: 24435047) and decreased expression of H1-5 has been identified in ovarian granulosa cell tumors (PMID: 25023763). | ||||||||||
