A fusion of HLA-A with ROS1 has been observed in spitzoid neoplasms (PMID: 24445538), and HLA-A mutations have been associated with chronic myelogenous leukemia (PMID: 20388056), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 22814293), and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 22880099).
