Gene Description HOXA10, homeobox protein Hox-A10, is a transcription factor that plays a role in the regulation of testicular descent (PMID: 27108669) and in uterus development during embryogenesis (PMID: 26865543). Decreased expression of Hoxa10 has been observed in prostate cancer (PMID: 30614022) and in testicular cancer (PMID: 30581773), while overexpression has been reported in endometrial cancer, HNSCC (PMID: 30581773), and coloreactal cancer (PMID: 29870276).
