| Gene Description | IFIT2, interferon-induced protein with tetratricopeptide repeats 2, is a member of the IRF-inducible gene family that plays a role in the immune defense against RNA viruses and promotes apoptosis (PMID: 30234477, PMID: 31921891). Decreased expression of Ifit2 in gastric cancer and non-small cell lung cancer has been associated with tumor progression and poor prognosis (PMID: 29316541, PMID: 31632065). | ||||||||||
