| Gene Description | IFNGR2, interferon gamma receptor 2, is the signal transducing subunit that forms a dimer with IFNGR1 to form a cytokine receptor for IFNG, which activates the JAK/STAT signaling pathway (PMID: 33281831, PMID: 30814731), and plays a role in immune response (PMID: 19161414, PMID: 33801234), apoptosis (PMID: 19657228, PMID: 11739558), and proliferation (PMID: 11739558). Overexpression of Ifngr2 has been observed in pediatric brainstem diffuse midline glioma (PMID: 38255296) and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 39697423). | ||||||||||
