Gene Description IGFBP2, insulin like growth factor binding protein 2, is a member of the IGF-binding protein (IGFBP) family that functions as a secretory and intracellular protein (PMID: 30626422) to regulate IGF and integrin pathways in modulation of cell growth and migration (PMID: 26317790). Overexpression of Igfbp2 has been observed in a number of tumor types including, ovarian, breast, colon, lung, glioma, prostate, and leukemia (PMID: 30626422, PMID: 26662106, PMID: 25774149).
