Gene Description IL3, interleukin 3, is a cytokine belonging to the beta common chain family that is produced primarily by T-cells (PMID: 34756806) and is involved in inflammatory response and regulation of hematopoiesis and myelopoiesis (PMID: 23535386, PMID: 30995500) and plays a role in neuronal survival (PMID: 17915029). IL3-IGH fusions have been identified in B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 29424254, PMID: 33991782).
