| Gene Description | IL3RA, interleukin 3 receptor subunit alpha, also referred to as CD123, is the IL-3-specific subunit of the IL-3 receptor, which functions in proliferation and survival of hematopoietic cells (PMID: 24513123, PMID: 14671644). IL3RA (CD123) overexpression has been associated with several hematological tumor types, including B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 24513123, PMID: 30847774), and is a marker for blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms (PMID: 31261288). | ||||||||||
