| Gene Description | KMT5A, lysine methyltransferase 5A, is an epigenetic modifier that methylates H4K20 (PMID: 12086618) and regulates gene transcription (PMID: 15681608), plays a role in cell cycle progression (PMID: 20966048) and genomic stability (PMID: 18480059, PMID: 18158331, PMID: 22345514). Mutations in KMT5A have been identified in cervical cancer (PMID: 37308924) and increased expression of KMT5A has been identified in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 29512765). | ||||||||||||
