Gene Description LCK, LCK proto-oncogene, Src family tyrosine kinase, plays a role in T-cell receptor signaling and T-cell development (PMID: 19290918) and is activated upon antigen presentation by MHC (PMID: 30660961). LCK overexpression has been demonstrated in chronic lympocytic leukemia (PMID: 23505068) and promotes proliferation of acute myeloid leukemia cells in culture (PMID: 30660961).
