| Gene Description | CAPRIN1, cell cycle associated protein 1, is an RNA-binding protein that is essential to the regulation of genes associated with the cell cycle, thereby playing a key role in cell proliferation (PMID: 31289466, PMID: 16177067). A fusion with CAPRIN1 and PDGFRB has been identified in chronic myeloproliferative disorders (PMID: 17296564) and overexpression of CAPRIN1 has been associated with esophageal carcinoma (PMID: 36855123). | ||||||||||
