| Gene Description | MAGEA3, melanoma-associated antigen 3, is a member of the cancer testis antigen (CTA) family that has normal, restricted expression in the testis (PMID: 30588194). Abnormal expression of Magea3 has been reported in a number of solid tumor types including, melanoma, breast cancer, head and neck cancer, lung cancer, gastric cancer, skin squamous cell carcinoma, colorectal cancer (PMID: 30588194), and urothelial bladder cancer (PMID: 30384365, PMID: 29058301), and is often associated with poor prognosis and resistance to immune checkpoint blockade (PMID: 29656892). | ||||||||||||
