Gene Description NFATC2, nuclear factor of activated T-cells 2, is a transcription factor that belongs to the NFAT family, primarily playing a role in the regulation of T cell function (PMID: 12975316). Constitutive activation of NFATC2 has been observed in breast cancer development (PMID: 20725108) and fusions with EWSR1 and FUS have been observed in mesenchymal tumors (PMID: 31049020).
