| Gene Description | NFIA, nuclear factor type 1 A, is a member of the nuclear factor one transcription factor family, which plays a role in cellular growth, proliferation, migration, and apoptosis, and promotes tumor formation (PMID: 24305710, PMID: 25435940, PMID: 23946414, PMID: 28076901). An NFIA-RAF1 fusion has been identified in pilocytic astrocytoma (PMID: 27810072) and an NFIA-CBFA2T3 fusion has been identified in acute erythroid leukemia (PMID: 23032695). | ||||||||||
