Gene Description NFATC3, nuclear factor of activated T cells 3, is a calcium responsive member of the NFAT family, which functions as a transcriptional activator and plays a role in cardiac development, vascular development, and thymic development (PMID: 25072963, PMID: 11983154). NFATC3 fusions with PLA2G15 have been identified in acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 23251452), T-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 29330284), and colorectal cancer (PMID: 29909608).
