Gene Description NOTCH3, notch receptor 3, is one of four Notch transmembrane receptors, that bind Delta or Jagged ligands (PMID: 30289388), and plays a role in cell fate regulation, proliferation, and survival (PMID: 30030828). NOTCH3 amplification has been implicated in the development of ovarian high-grade serous carcinoma (PMID: 20001801, PMID: 30723507) and myofibroma (PMID: 31566039) and NOTCH3 overexpression has been implicated in breast cancer metastasis (PMID: 30180881).
