| Gene Description | YBX1, Y-box binding protein 1, is a DNA- and RNA-binding protein that regulates the transcription and translation of its target genes, and plays a role in DNA repair, RNA splicing, transcript stability, and cell proliferation and differentiation (PMID: 29478751, PMID: 20091748, PMID: 23449390). Overexpression of YBX1 has been identified in various tumor types, including multiple myeloma, melanoma, breast, lung, ovary, colorectal, prostate, and gastric cancer (PMID: 28819388, PMID: 30258867). | ||||||||||
