| Gene Description | PAK1, p21 protein (Cdc42/Rac)-activated kinase 1, is a Group I PAK family member that functions as an effector for Rac and Cdc42 signaling, and is involved in regulation of cell signaling, proliferation, migration, and survival (PMID: 23125950, PMID: 23162742), and plays a role in the regulation EGFR/ERBB2/MAPK pathways (PMID: 32863957). PAK1 amplification and overexpression have been observed in several tumor types (PMID: 23125950, PMID: 24529727), including breast cancer (PMID: 32863957). | ||||||||||
