| Gene Description | PAX6, paired box 6, is a transcription factor involved in neuronal cell migration and proliferation (PMID: 39922861), corneal epithelial cell differentiation and homeostasis (PMID: 39453672), and pancreatic alpha-cell differentiation (PMID: 9163426). Hypermethylation of Pax6 has been observed in liver cancer (PMID: 39614377) and non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 26617874) and decreased Pax6 expression has been identified in prostate cancer (PMID: 19790232) and glioblastoma (PMID: 12960124). | ||||||||||||
