| Gene Description | IRAK4, interleukin 1 receptor associated kinase 4, encodes a kinase that interacts with Myd88, thereby playing a role in innate immunity via the IL-1/TLR pathway (PMID: 17470642, PMID: 30076215, PMID: 17337443) and participates in CD4+ T cell differentiation through IL-1 mediation (PMID: 19542468). Alternate isoforms of IRAK4 have been identified in myeloid malignancies (PMID: 31011167), and increased IRAK4 expression has been identified in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PMID: 29363544). | ||||||||||
