Gene Description NIN, ninein, is a centrosomal protein involved in microtubule organization (PMID: 10934040, PMID: 15190203, PMID: 17102634) and stability (PMID: 25741725), phagocytosis (PMID: 38117588), and axonal branching and elongation (PMID: 25741725). An NIN-PDGFRB fusion has been identified in atypical chronic myeloid leukemia (PMID: 15087377), a NIN-JAK2 fusion has been identified in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 30181314), and increased Nin expression has been observed in glioma (PMID: 20529377).
