Gene Description CDK18, cyclin-dependent kinase 18, is a potential inhibitor of autophagy (PMID: 30289335) and plays a role in the DNA damage response by maintaining chromosome stability through ATR signalling (PMID: 30034634). Overexpression of Cdk18 has been associated with better prognosis of ER-negative breast cancer patients and response to chemotherapy (PMID: 30034634).
