Gene Description TRIM33, tripartite motif containing 33, has multiple functions including E3-ubiquitin ligase and transcriptional coregulatory activity, and plays a role in DNA repair, cell-cycle, and hematopoeisis (PMID: 25639486, PMID: 26282171). TRIM33 fusions have been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 23533264), papillary thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 10741739, PMID: 30664823), pancreatic acinar cell carcinomas (PMID: 32358589), and diffuse leptomeningeal glioneuronal tumors (PMID: 29766299).
