Gene Description PER1, period circadian regulator 1, is a member of the period gene family that functions as a repressor in the circadian rhythm (PMID: 30791227). Decreased expression of Per1 has been observed in colorectal cancer (PMID: 17699798) and an ETV6-PER1 fusion has been identified in acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 12661008).
