Gene Description PIK3CD, phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit delta, is one of four Class I phosphoinositide 3-kinases that is predominantly expressed in leukocytes and regulates leukocyte proliferation and differentiation (PMID: 23330955). PIK3CD has been identified as a hub and/or driver gene in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 30830589) and gastric cancer (PMID: 32034058), and overexpression of Pik3cd has been reported in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 30300952) and other solid tumors (PMID: 32556179).
