Gene Symbol INO80
Synonyms INO80A | INOC1
Gene Description INO80, INO80 complex ATPase subunit, is the catalytic component of the INO80 chromatin remodeling complex (PMID: 21303910), and plays a role in DNA replication (PMID: 20237820, PMID: 22201784, PMID: 31657441), genomic stability (PMID: 20237820, PMID: 41484646), DNA repair (PMID: 21947284, PMID: 41083907), and cell survival (PMID: 31657441). INO80 alterations have been identified in ETV6::RUNX1 acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 39121442) and hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma (PMID: 28122867), and increased INO80 copy number has been observed in several tumor types (PMID: 29383140), as well as overexpression in colorectal cancer (PMID: 29383140) and cervical cancer (PMID: 27750218).
