Gene Description ESRP1, epithelial splicing regulatory protein 1, is an RNA-binding protein and splicing factor that regulates epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (PMID: 21876675) and may play a role in regulating the cell cycle and hypoxia (PMID: 31963158). An ESRP1-RAF1 fusion has been observed in prostate cancer (PMID: 20526349), and ESRP1 amplification and overexpression has been observed in gastric cancer (PMID: 31881796).
