| Gene Description | RNF43, ring finger protein 43, is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that targets Frizzled receptors, resulting in lysosomal degradation of Frizzleds and negative regulation of Wnt signaling (PMID: 25460271) and may play a role in regulation of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (PMID: 31286874). RNF43 mutations are associated with several tumor types and are frequent in colorectal and endometrial cancer (PMID: 25460271, PMID: 25344691, PMID: 32092099, PMID: 32008206, PMID: 29756208). | ||||||||||
