| Gene Description | PHIP, PHIP subunit of CUL4-Ring ligase complex, encodes a substrate receptor for CRL4 E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, which maintains genome integrity by playing a role in replication (PMID: 30018425), replication stress response (PMID: 35863899, PMID: 33503431), and mitotic progression (PMID: 31911655), and is involved in beta-cell mitogenesis (PMID: 17636024) and potentially insulin signaling (PMID: 11018022). Mutations in PHIP have been identified in acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 39367245) and increased PHIP copy number has been observed in glioblastoma (PMID: 32273388) and melanoma (PMID: 24005052). | ||||||||||||
