| Gene Description | WRAP53, WD repeat containing antisense to TP53, encodes an antisense transcript of TP53 that regulates Tp53 expression (PMID: 19250907), and a scaffolding protein that plays an important role in telomere function (PMID: 19179534) and DNA repair (PMID: 25512560, PMID: 25852739). Increased expression of WRAP53 has been observed in multiple tumor types (PMID: 36354684), including non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 31281482) and rectal cancer (PMID: 22805008). | ||||||||||||
