| Gene Description | STEAP3, STEAP3 metalloreductase, promotes reduction of iron and copper ions (PMID: 16609065), and is involved in iron uptake in erythroid cells (PMID: 16227996), iron homeostasis, and innate immunity (PMID: 22689674). Overexpression of Steap3 has been observed in various tumor types including ovarian cancer (PMID: 37386521), triple-negative breast cancer (PMID: 37064114), clear cell renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 36424540), and glioma (PMID: 39537233). | ||||||||||
