| Gene Description | NUDT15, nudix hydrolase 15, is a component of the thiopurine metabolism pathway involved in inactivation of thiopurines (PMID: 38230823, PMID: 26878724) through nucleotide diphosphatase activity (PMID: 26878724, PMID: 27530327). Genetic polymorphisms in NUDT15 leading to decreased enzymatic activity have been associated with toxicity to thiopurines (PMID: 26878724, PMID: 28659275), such as 6-mercaptopurine (PMID: 37794799). | ||||||||||||
