Gene Description

NOP10, NOP10 ribonucleoprotein, encodes a member of the small nucleolar RNA family and is a component of ribonucleoprotein complexes (PMID: 11074001, PMID: 9843512), including the telomerase complex (PMID: 18523010), and plays a role in rRNA processing via pseudouridylation of pre-rRNA (PMID: 9843512, PMID: 25363811). Increased expression of Nop10 has been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 33288886) and metastatic pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PMID: 34638246).
