Gene Description PRF1, perforin 1, is a pore-forming protein involved in cytotoxicity of natural killer and T-cells (PMID: 33566725, PMID: 23073290, PMID: 25998963). Mutations in PRF1 have been observed in lymphoma (PMID: 15459303, PMID: 15728124) and increased expression of Prf1 has been observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 33618069).
