Gene Description PRKCB, protein kinase C beta, encodes two alternatively spliced isoforms, which are members of the classical subfamily of the PKC family of protein kinases, and play a role in B-cell receptor and insulin receptor signaling (PMID: 25399570, PMID: 12417015). Altered PRKCB expression has been associated with several tumor types, including increased expression in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PMID: 28571764, PMID: 17384583, PMID: 25399570).
