| Gene Description | FOXJ2, forkhead box J2, is a transcriptional activator of the forkhead box family of transcription factors and plays a role in embryonic development (PMID: 11025217) and the induction of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (PMID: 27611107). FOXJ2 fusions have been identified in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 27824051) and testicular germ cell tumors (PMID: 26659575), and decreased expression of FOXJ2 has been observed in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 27177166) and cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 25873280). | ||||||||||
