Gene Description TMEM165, transmembrane protein 165, mediates calcium/cation exchange in the Golgi apparatus (PMID: 23569283) and is involved in protein glycosylation (PMID: 22683087). TMEM165 overexpression has been identified in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 30015898), and TMEM165 fusions have been identified in osteosarcoma (PMID: 30674975) and spinal cord gliomas (PMID: 31537867).
