| Gene Description | KMT2E, lysine methyltransferase 2E, plays an indirect role in H3K4 methylation and is involved in cell cycle progression (PMID: 19264965, PMID: 23629655), genome integrity (PMID: 22797924), hematopoiesis (PMID: 18818388), and cell differentiation (PMID: 19264965). KMT2E is located within a genomic region frequently deleted in myeloid leukemias (PMID: 12101424), mutations in KMT2E have been observed in various solid tumors (PMID: 28188343), and alternatively spliced isoforms of KMT2E have been observed in cervical cancer (PMID: 21908553). | ||||||||||||
