Gene Description | BAIAP2L1, BAR/IMD domain containing adaptor protein 2 like 1, is a substrate for insulin receptor tyrosine kinase and is involved in signal transduction pathways through linking the plasma membrane to actin reorganization (PMID: 23693078, PMID: 18215522) and plays a role in regulating insulin signaling (PMID: 31212584). Overexpression of Baiap2l1 has been observed in ovarian cancer (PMID: 26222696), an FGFR3-BAIAP2L1 fusion has been identified in bladder cancer (PMID: 23175443), BAIAP2L1-MET has been identified in kidney papillary cell carcinoma (PMID: 28512244), and BAIAP2L1-BRAF fusions have been identified in spitzoid melanoma (PMID: 26892443), and non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 30257958). | ||||||||||
