| Gene Description | PRLR, prolactin receptor, is a member of the type 1 cytokine receptor superfamily that binds the hormone, prolactin, to activate Jak2/Stat5, MAPK, and PI3K pathways for control of lactation (PMID: 28377489, PMID: 27107001). Overexpression of PRLR has been observed in multiple subtypes of breast cancer (PMID: 28377489) and was associated with increased survival in triple-ngeative breast cancer patients (PMID: 32199279). | ||||||||||
