Gene Description RAD18, RAD18 E3 ubiquitin protein ligase, encodes for a ubiquitin ligase protein that forms a complex with RAD6 and is involved in the DNA repair pathway (PMID: 10884424). A RAD18 -BRAF fusion has been identified in melanoma (PMID: 26314551) and Rad18 overexpression has been associated with poor prognosis in colorectal cancer (PMID: 32319669) and with resistance to radiotherapy in glioma (PMID: 30798132).
