Gene Description CIP2A, cellular inhibitor of PP2A, also known as cancerous inhibitor protein phosphatase 2A (PMID: 31534561), plays a role in regulating PP2A activity thereby indirectly influencing cell cycle progression (PMID: 24214971, PMID: 32071079). CIP2A overexpression and/or amplification have been reported in numerous cancer types (PMID: 24214971, PMID: 25015035), including multiple myeloma (PMID: 32277660), oral squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 32266176), and esophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma (PMID: 31534561).
